Tenants will be provided with a sheet featuring all telephone numbers a tenant may need when they sign their lease and pick-up keys for their apartment.  The following is a list of the numbers too that would be provided at move-in for new tenants:

Manchester Property Management- 217-359-0248
24 Hour Emergency Maintenance (For emergencies only)- 217-351-6925
Insight Communications (Local Cable Company)- 217-841-4714
Ameren IP 800-755-5000
Illinois American Water (Local Water Company)- 217-352-1420
SBC (Local Telephone Company)- 800-244-4444
Connectivity U (Internet Provider)- 888-288-3247
US Postal Service (For Mailbox Keys)- 217-352-2167

The tenant or tenants will need to call the water company and the electric company at the numbers listed above at move-in to make sure all water bills and electric will be sent to the tenant or tenants for service.  Water and electricity are already on in apartment though, its just whose being billed that will change.  The final number a tenant will need to call at move-in is the US Postal Service telephone number above.  They own the postal pads in the complexes where mail will be sent for tenants, and they will need to be called to get keys.  Manchester Property Management DOES NOT have these keys, and they will need to be picked up at the local US Post Office as they request when you call them.  They will also want to see your copy of the lease that tenant/tenants recieve after they have signed their lease.  Finally please make sure to fill out move-in inspection report that is given to you at move-in, copies of this form can also be found on the printable forms page on the website.  This is the only way for Manchester to track any defects/problems that the apartment may have had before a tenant moves-in so that is why it is important for tenant/tenants to turn one in.
